October favourites

So here is what I've been reaching for the most this past month.

* Anastasia dipbrow pomade in dark brown. I don't think that need any other eyebrow product ever.
* Garnier BB cream, I bought loads of sachets of eBay cheap to trial it and I love it! The colour is nice and it just feels like a moisturiser on the skin.
* Eyeko liquid eyeliner pen
* Charlotte Tilbury dolce vita palette
* Nars matte lip pencil in dolce vita
* Rimmel colour rush balm in on fire. This is the easiest red lip ever and very low maintenance and comfortable to wear!

What have you been wearing the most recently?
I'm so bored of seeing posts about berry lip colours now that it's autumn. I won't be buying one but I will be wearing a bold red lip more and not just saving it for special occasions.

My Christmas Wishlist

So it's that time of year and I admit I have already started my Christmas shopping.
Here is a round up of my wishlist for this year. It is mostly Charlotte Tilbury as this woman can just do no wrong lol.

Charlotte Tilbury Fallen Angel Palette - This is the perfect smokey eye palette. I have declared my love for it in many posts so I won't go on.

Charlotte Tilbury Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds Lipstick Lustre - I admit I only want this to complete The Supermodel collection as I already have the Confession lipstick. I am not blown over by it and a part of me thinks that this might make it come alive and me think oh yeah there it is? Who knows.

Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick Charms -
Oh my these are the cutest mini lipsticks ever! You get 3 lipsticks which are Penelope Pink, Bitch Perfect and So Marilyn. What a great way to try them out as the first two look very similar from online swatches and you can't go wrong with a bright red. I wish she would do 3 matte lipstick charms that would just be amazing.

Slipknot, Korn Standing Tickets - well my husband has already bought this so it is kind of cheating but we do not have them in our hands to hold just yet. We missed out seeing them 5 years ago due to it selling out. We bought tickets on eBay for twice the price and then they never turned out. We got our money back but we have regretted not seeing Slipknot for years! We have seen Korn twice but we still love them as well. This will be a special trip as our daughter will be 6 months by this gig and I'm dreading leaving her for the evening but I know I have to and I will enjoy a rare night out with my husband.

Nars Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella - since I've got the Dolce Vita shade I can't get how comfortable and easy it is to wear and I know a bright red lip is high maintenance. I have the YSL Rouge pur couture in 01 and it is a pain in the arse to apply and maintain. I do love a bright red lip and I'm thinking that a matte formula is the way to go so watch this space. Yes I have tried the Rimmel Kate lipsticks but it is still not hitting the spot for me.

So that's my wishlist. What are you hoping for this year?

Nars Dolce Vita Matte Lip Pencil

So I know that I am late to the bandwagon on this product but I have only just discovered that it existed.
I saw a picture on another blog (Killer Colours) of her wearing it and I instantly fell in love with the colour of it. It is a your lips but better colour and also matte lips are huge this season.
I have hunted and searched many online shops for this as it seems that it has been discontinued. I eventually found it on eBay after lots of perseverance.
It is so comfortable on the lips for a matte lip pencil and the colour is a perfect pairing for a smokey eye. It can be worn day or night and is a new staple in my handbag.
Nars also do this colourway in a sheer lipstick which is now on my wishlist.
Have you tried any Nars Dolce Vita products?

Products that I'm lusting after the most

Even though I've only recently got a new Ted Baker handbag I have fallen head over heels in love with another bag. I am definitely more of a bag person that a shoe person. I love handbags!
Here is what is currently at the top of my very long wishlist:
Kate Spade Beau Bag
I love the classic black but I want this in red. It looks absolutely stunning and I know it's very expensive so I won't be able to get one but a girl can dream right. This is gorgeous and I could team it with red shoes or a red lip to set off the look. I first caught sight of this bag in either Marie Claire magazine and I'd never heard of the brand but now it is definitely on my radar.
Mac Lipstick in Vegas Volt
I am a huge fan of Mac Ravishing as it is definitely my favourite Mac shade. This shade looks similar to it, It's like Ravishing but on a better day. It is brighter and more pigmented than Ravishing so I definitely want to own Vegas Volt.
Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser
This is a cult favourite among bloggers and I want to get involved and see what all the fuss is about. I would like to wear this as a stand alone complexion products. No foundation no primer no bb or cc creams just this alone to see how it fairs. I would also wear it alone as casual day make up as I don't wear foundation everyday anyway.
Nars Adult Content Blush Pallette
I have never tried any Nars blushers so I thought this would be a great way to be introduced to the product in love how you get a highlighter too so even though it's pricey I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this.
So that's it my current wishlist lustings, what do you think is there anything here that you own that you can give me advice on?

August Favourites

I am so glad that August is over as i hate 5 week months due to always ending up super poor.
I did manage to pick up some great new products in August so here are the items that I was reaching for most:

Mac illustrated Rebecca Moses Face Kit Palette - Brown This item is probably my favourite out of the whole lot as I have had so much use out of it. I've worn it most days and I've especially loved the lipsticks. I love how good quality it all is and the scents of everything are yummy. This is my first Mac purchase and I'm sure that there will be many more to follow. Full post about this here

Burts Bees Coconut Foot Cream
This is quite thick in consistensy as it is more like a gel. My feet get drier over the summer as I don't wear socks with my ballet flats for work and this has been their savior.
Apart from smelling gorgeous you can feel it working straight away. I have nearly finished this little tube and I need to purchase the full size.

Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm
This along with the Lush popcorn lip scrub have been a great duo for bringing my lips back to soft healthy condition.
This feels like a deep moisturiser for the lips. It smells gorgeous and fruity too, of oranges i think. It isn't greasy at all and you get a lot of the product in this jar.
I have been applying it in a evening and after 1 week my lips are feeling softer already.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick - 14 Corail in Touch
This is my favourite of the 2 rouge volupte shine lipsticks that I own as it is a brighter colour of the two, the other that i have is number 15 Corail Intuitive.
The formula of this is amazing it feels so gentle on the lips and has a great colour pay off. Not to mention that the packaging is the most gorgeous that I've ever seen. see my YSL lipstick post here

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer - Chantilly
This is currently my favourite concealer but I think that I bought the wrong shade as it might be too light for me oops. I do love the formula of this though and I am determined to make it work for me. This is my first Nars product and I am impressed with the quality of the product and the packaging. full review here

Bioderma Sebium Facial Gel Cleanser
This has been my daily cleanser for the last month and it is still going strong. I won it in a twitter competition and I still love it. It leaves my skin feeling so clean and it feels gentle at the same time. I will definitely repurchase this one. see my Bioderma full skincare regime here

I did have lots more favourites this month that I feel deserve a little shout out, they include: Art Deco eye primer, Mac Illustrated brush bag, Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Noir perfume and The Balm Nude Tude palette. I didn't want to make this post super long but I hope you have enjoyed seeing my favourite items from the past month. What was your 1 favourite item through August? I would love to know

My never ending wishlist continues...

Here what I am currently lusting over:

*Nuxe Reve De Miel Baume Levres - This has amazing reviews across lots of blogs and my lips are very dry at the moment so I really want to try this out.

*Nars Happening Palette - I'm a sucker for palettes with multiple items in and this has blush, bronzer and eyeshadows so it is right up my street. I believe this is hard to get hold of now as It was limited edition earlier in the year boo! But I've not given up hope.

*YSL Rouge Volupte Shine lipstick in Corail Incandescent - since I've recently got two other shades of this lipstick and I've fell head over heels for it I now want it in more colours. This shade is next on my list.

*Night Film by Marisha Pessi - I love a good book and this horror/thriller sounds perfect for me, so I'm hoping to pick this up soon.

What do you think of my current picks?

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer Review in Chantilly

I read a lot of blogs and one concealer kept constantly popping up and it was this the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer everyone raved about how good it was so I decided to try it for myself.

I ordered it from Space NK as they recently had a free delivery offer on. I have got shade Chantilly which is the lightest that they do. I have noticed this shade is no longer available on the Nars website so I'm worried that maybe it is being discontinued.

So this is my first Nars product and I really like the sleek packaging and the rubber tip which I wasn't expecting I expected it to just be plastic but it's a nice touch.
The wand applicator feels very good quality and the fact that not too much product comes out of the tube.

When I first applied this I panicked oh no its too light my heart dank I'd got the wrong shade but once it was blended it settled and it wasn't such a shock. The shade was perfect phew. This is a great concealer and I would say that it is noticeably better than my current favourite of Benefits Boi-ing concealer. I hope I continue to love this as if I find out that it has been discontinued I will have to stock up.

Have you ever tried this concealer and what did you think? It is my new favourite.

My wishlist for August

Here are the items that I really want to buy and I will be pining over through August. Hopefully I will be able to afford to buy at least 1 or 2 items from this wishlist.

1. Urban Decay Smoked Palette
I have wanting this for a few months now but it's never took priority until now. This palette looks absolutely gorgeous and even though it's called smoked and aims to give you the best smokey eyes, you don't have to use it to have smokey eyes. I feel like I will have so many options with this palette and I can't wait to try out lots of new looks with it.

2. Nars Creamy Concealer - Chantilly
I have wanted to try this concealer after reading so many raving reviews about it on lots of blogs. It always looks amazing in action and I hope it works for me.

3. Benefit Coralista blusher
This is my favourite blusher, I get a lot of complements on it when I wear it. I discovered it in my Powda Wowza palette but now I can see the bottom of the pan and I'm panicking that it will run out anyway now so I need to repurchase pronto.

4. Real Techniques Core Collection face brushes
I have a good set of eye brushes which are my Too Faced ones but I see so many bloggers who swear by these brushes only. So seeing as I need some proper face brushes anyway I would love to try these out.

5. Lush Lip Scrub Mint Julips
I am loving matte lipstick at the moment but I'm finding that the downside to it as it settles in every crack and makes dry lips look even worse. So I'm hoping this will solve all my problems.

What is on your current wishlist and have you tried any off mine and what did you think?
