Mamas & Papas Armadillo Pram Review

Sophia has recently turned one and she is quite big for her age, I had recently noticed that she was completely filling her buggy. We had the Cosatto Supa Stroller and its very narrow, her shoulders were touching the sides and her head touched the top of the canopy when reclined. I was a bit gutted as I liked the Cosatto and I thought that it would last her until she was walking.

Queue panic searching of buggy reviews and many YouTube videos for tall kids. One pram kept coming up over and over again the Mamas & Papas Armadillo (the regular one not the city version as that's smaller). I immediately starring hunting for a deal as I knew that I wanted this one. The pram RRP is £250 but Argos had the coral on sale for £179.99 it has since gone back up. We got a great deal on it brand new from Direct2Mums ebay store for £163.

My favourite features are:
* Lots of room length and widthways whilst still being a small pram.
* One handed fold down. I can hold Sophia in one arm whilst I collapse the pram with the other.
* Huge canopy for blocking the sun.
* Easy to push especially with one hand.
* Has wheel suspension for a comfier ride.
* Good size basket.

My not so favourite things:
* You have to buy a footmuff and seatliner separate at a extra cost of £60 Rrp. These where included with my Cosatto so it was a large extra cost on top of the price of the pram.
* It doesn't come with a cup holder. My Cosatto did and I loved it but I'm not paying Rrp £25 for a cup holder as that's crazy. I will use my Pink Lining bottle bag instead.
* I don't like how the raincover doesn't cover the whole canopy it attaches where the canopy ends. It's so frustrating as living in a upstairs flat I have to find room to put my pram up to dry.

Overall I love this pram and now that I've bought the extras it is better than my Cosatto pram as Sophia is a lot more comfortable and has lots of room in it to grow. I love how we can buy different coloured hoods if I get bored or if we have a boy down the line. I also love how it can be used from birth and with adapters it will fit a car seat. I hope that this is the last pram that we need to buy and it might even see us through a baby no.2 who knows.

We bought the pram ourselves and all thoughts in this review are my own.

On My Radar

Here are some items that are currently on my radar!
Fiorelli Perry Bag RRP £45, Sale £22.50
This summer it is all about small bags where I can just carry my essentials around with me. This is very unlike me as I usually like carrying around a giant horde of stuff. Anyway soon when my baby is born (anyday now) I will have my Pink Lining Yummy Mummy changing bag to carry around with me so I want to streamline my own bits and bobs.
Charlotte Tilbury - Dolca Vita Palette £38
Yes the price is a little steep for 4 eyeshadow but the look that gives looks breathtakingly stunning. You can get both day and night looks from this. No matter what you say I will find a way to justify the hefty price tag for this. I just need it ok.
Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade - Dark Brown £15
I never feel 'done' until I have my eyebrows made up. I currently use Benefits Brow Zings which completely transformed my life. I am useless with pencils but now this product has perked up my interest as it has received such good reviews everywhere. Also it would just be a one step process rather than the 2 with the Benefit product. Anything to make my life easier.
New Look Coral/Tan Sandal £15.99
I am so sick of wearing flip flops but I am struggling to fit my 9 month pregnant cankles into anything else and probably not even these but as she is due anyday (please god today?) I am told my feet will go back or normal more or less immediately after the birth. So what a nice way to celebrate than with some new summer sandals. These will also go with lots of outfits and the above Fiorelli bag (see where I am going with that). These were on sale on ASOS for £12 but they've just sold out boo! But luckily for me i managed to bag the last of my size just in the nick of time.
Bare Minerals Marvellous Moxie Lipstick - Speak Your Mind £13.95
I remember seeing swatches of this on a blog ages ago (can't remember which) and it's just stuck with me as looking gorgeous on. It was like the everyday perfect pinky hue. I have not forgot about it and really should take the time out to swatch it for myself. As I've recently learned that looking at swatches online is completely useless as they can look totally different on you and in real life in general.
So that's it my current lustings. Unfortunately most are high end so I will have to continue to want but seriously they all look gorgeous! Let me know what you are currently craving? Or if you have found any bargains.

My favourite lip products for Spring Summer 2014

So I have been wearing my make up very natural lately if I wear at all. Pregnancy hasn't been a blessing to my skin as my cheeks are alot more red and irritated due to the hormones. Anyway here are my favourite picks for a beautiful spring summer lip.

Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip balm
I do have the other version of this in the little tub which is thicker and all round better but this balm stick also holds a special place in my heart. It is perfect to keep in my handbag for on the go applications. It still feels very moisturising and nourishing on the lips.

Maybelline Colour Whisper - Pin Up Peach
This is by far my favourite lip product of the year and that I find myself reaching for the most. It isn't as intense and as think as a lipstick on the lips but still gives great colour payoff which is also a bit glossy. It leaves my lips feeling nice and there is no drying. The colour doesn't last for a long time when eating or drinking but I don't mind reapplying this beauty. Unfortunately this isn't out in the UK so I had to purchase mine from ebay but this colour is just the perfect shade of a pinky peach, definitely more on the pink side. I now want all colours on this haha.

NYX Butter Lip Balm - Brownie
Another import from the USA I'm afraid but I think the newer version of these are availab now in the UK, they are in different packaging. These are in between a lip balm and a lip stick feeling much lighter on the lips but with some colour pay off. I have 3 shades and Brownie is the perfect nude, my lips but better. It looks more dry in the tube than I thought but still feels nice and buttery on the lips. The colour payoff isn't as good as a Maybelline Colour Whisper as this feels thicker and drier. These are more like a well tinted lip balm. This is nice if I just want a small wash of colour and it smells good enough to eat.

Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish - No. 16
This is the perfect Pink lipstick for summer that I love so much. I am a huge fan of these Kate lipsticks and this is by far my favourite shade. It isn't too scary bright pink but the colour is really pigmented. It smells gorgeous and is great value. The only problem is that it can cling to any dryness on my lips but so do my high end Mac lipsticks so I either need to make sure my lips are in good condition to wear this or to wear a wear a small layer of balm (but the colour payoff won't be as good).

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine - No. 15 Coral Intuitive
This is just a classic beautiful lip stick that is perfect for any occasion. As it is from the shine range it isn't a thick lipstick, it is a lightweight lipstick with shine. It's probably quite similar to my Maybelline Colour Whisper for texture and application on the lips. This is a beautiful pinky peach shade more on the side of peach for this spring summer. It has good pigmentation but the shine or colour won't last for hours eating or drinking. But with packaging looking this good you will be happy to show it off for all to see for reapplication. It is very pricey but I see this as a investment.

Swatches from left to right: Nyx lip butter, maybelline colour whisper, rimmel Kate and ysl rouge volupte.

Currently Lusting Over

Too Faced - A La Mode Palette
So I love my Too Faced Summer Eyes palette alot, the quality is so good and I love the packaging but there is a new palette doing the rounds on blogs. The sad thing is that it is not due for release over in the UK until May oh no! It is beautiful though the colours are different enough from my other palettes to make me want this, and bad!
Maybelline Colour Whisper - Pin Up Peach
So again this is another product currently not out in the UK :-( but you can buy it from the UK ebay store for a decent price. I am currently not in the mood for heavy full on lipsticks and I want to keep my make up simple and light this Spring/Summer so I'm delving into the world of lip butters. I haven't tried any of the Revlon ones as they seem quite pricey for what they are and alot of reviews say that they are very pigmented which is currently not what I'm looking for. This shade just looks stunning and they have a nice amount of shine too unlike the NYX ones.
Zara Mini City Bag With Zips
So I've recently got the mini office city bag in grey which I love! But I can't help to lust over this beauty as well. It comes in light blue or pink which would be great for the huge pastal colour take over that's happening right now. This bag has lots of room for everything and like the other it has lots of places for everything.
What are you currently lusting over?

Shopping My Stash - My Spring Favourites

So now that it's Spring and the cold sun is shining I have decided to switch my makeup rotation around a bit to get me in the mood for Spring/Summer.
I've seen a lot of new makeup releases doing the rounds lately but while they are all very pretty I've delved into my stash to see what pretty pieces that I already have.
1. Benefit World Famous Neutrals - This eyeshadow set never gets old! the colours are beautifully pigmented and very longwearing. It is perfect for daily casual makeup or glamorous evening looks. See my full review and swatches here
2. Too Faced Summer Eyes - This is a great way of introducing abit of colour into my look without being scared. I am never one to wear bright crazy coloured eyeshadow but here you get 3 looks and Too Faced include a how too to achieve a gorgeous summer look. See my full review, swatches and a tutorial here
3. Benefit Hervana Blusher - This is my second favourite Benefit Blusher after Coralista and it is a gorgeous light pink and it smells just heavenly seriously it smells so good you need to sniff it. You also get a good quality application brush with it that isn't too small so I do use it. There is just something special about swirling your brush around to mix the colours for a pretty pink flush. See my full review here
4. Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish No 16 - again this is just a perfect choice for a everyday wearable pink lip that gives you that Spring/Summer vibe. I was obsessed with Coral everything last summer and I still am but I am currently trying to change it up abit and head towards the more pinkish rose hues. More info here
Let me know what your Spring/Summer picks are by linking to your blog below as my favourite way to discover makeup is by reading blogs :-) x

My Most used products - October

Here are the products that I have been reaching for most last month:

Origins Ginzing Moisturiser
This is my first time using this product and I am very happy with it, it leaves my skin feeling nice and fresh and it sinks in nice and quickly.

Bobbi Brown Pink Coral Blush
I am still completely in love with this blush it is so pretty and more on the pink side rather than the coral side. I have a few peach blushes so this is a nice change.

Rimmel Kate Lipstick - 16
This is a beautiful everyday pink lip colour that isn't too bright or intense. It's just a nice daytime lipstick. If I want a bright pink lip then I turn to Geranium by Limecrime. This can sometimes feel a little drying so I usually apply abit of lip balm beforehand and it's fine.

Mac Creamsheen Lipstick - Coral Bliss
This is a gorgeous nudey coral pink colour. It is rather sheer for a creamsheen but a nice choice for work or a none make up day. If I want a true nude lip I turn to my Mac pro longwear in to the future.

Garnier Body Intensive 7 days softening nourishing lotion
This has been my go to body moisturiser for the past few weeks. It leaves my skin feeling nice and hydrated especially after a hot shower to warm up which can dry out my skin. I will definitely purchase this again once it runs out.

My Lipstick Wish List

I started putting together a make up wishlist and I realised that it was all mostly lipsticks so u decided to just so a lipstick one. Lipsticks are currently my favorite thing and there are so many that I want greedy me but I've narrowed it down for this list. I'm so bored of ready about how everyone needs to wear Mac Rebel now it's Autumn yawn! But I refuse as I don't like plum lipsticks as even though I love Vampires I don't want to look like one. I still favor nice peaches, corals and pinks for every season so I hope you like my current picks.
I will do this in the order of which I want the most so here we go -
Lime Crime - Babette $16
This looks like a stunning nude colour but abit more interesting. These lipsticks look very opaque and this looks brighter than most neutral nudes that I see. This seems impossible to get hold of in the UK so if you know where I can get it please link me in the comments. So far it looks like I will have to get it directly from Lime Crime in the USA. Also it has a unicorn on the packaging = me instantly won over.

Lime Crime - Geranium £11.50
Omg how fab does this pink look! I'm not really one for bright lipsticks but there is something about this that is seriously beautiful. Thankfully some UK websites stock this so it seems easier to get hold of than the elusive Babette. I was in the market for another nude and pink shade and I was swaying towards Mac Creamy Cup and Pink Nouveau which are both still on my wishlist but these two Lime Crime lipsticks took the lead.

YSL Rouge Volupte - Peach Passion £23.50
This will continue to be on my wishlist until I purchase it as it looks stunning and I know how much I love YSL lipsticks. This one is now discontinued so i need to get it before its gone. If it does sadly fall off the face of the earth my back up will be YSL Rouge Pur Couture - 51 Corail Urbain. This is a nice day time peach colour that looks stunning.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine - Orange Impertinent £24
This looks similar to the Corail In Touch that I already have but a brighter and deeper shade. This looks gorgeous and I would be so happy to add this to my collection. It is part of the rouge volupte shine family so they aren't that opaque so the colour won't be too scary. This is something that I like about these lipsticks so if you do want a bright orange coral opaque shade I wouldn't recommend this lipstick.

Hourglass Opaque Liquid Lipstick £23
These look really interesting and and I've never had anything by Hourglass before but I know that they get lots of good bloggers reviews. I like the idea of the packaging and would love to try it out for myself. I'm still uncertain on which shade I would get I'm thinking either rose or raven.

So that's it my lipstick wishlist they all seem to be high end so I'd better get saving up and hope Father Christmas might bring me one. Have you ever tried the Lime Crime or Hourglass lipsticks and what do you think?

Bobbi Brown Pink Coral Blush Review

This blusher is from this season and is part of the Rich Chocolate range.
It comes in matte or shimmer but I went for matte as I'm not a shimmer kinda gal.
I am so glad that I made the splurge on this blusher as it is my new favourite! It is gorgeous. I love anything coral but this colour is on the pink side of coral rather than the peachy side like everything else.
I think that's why I love it so much as I have nothing like it. It isn't too pigmented and it is a very build able shade. As it is quite a light pink coral shade I'm not sure if it would show up on darker skin tones but for any light-medium skintone this colourful would give you gorgeous natural looking flushed cheeks.
The packaging is nice and sleek and black and even though it's plastic it doesn't feel cheap.
I now want more shades of Bobbi 's blushes and I'm eyeing up nectar for my next purchase and I wouldn't mind making my own 4 pan palette. Oh dear I fear a obsession is in the making with these blushes.
Have you tried anything from the new rich chocolate range?

My top 8 favourite lipsticks

I love all make up but most of all I love lipsticks and then blushers. I love to collect them especially the high end ones which is turning out to be a expensive hobby oops.
Here are my current top 8 favourite lipsticks, it was hard choosing them but here they are from left to right in the swatch picture (opposite way  in the other 2) -
8. Mac Viva La Gaga - Lustre
This is a gorgeous light pink and it is a little more sheer than the creamsheen formula. It again feels comfortable to wear and smells of the usual Mac vanilla
7. Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Matte - 111 Kiss of Life
Seeing as this is a cheap lipstick I was very impressed with this formula as it feels nice on and is quite longlasting. It isn't too matte and it smells really nice too. It isn't YSL standard but it isn't YSL price either. Definitely a winner for Rimmel.
6. YSL Rouge Pur Couture - 01 Le Rouge
This is the perfect bright red lipstick. It smells gorgeous and the formular is nice and creamy and it feels very comfortable on the lip. This is highly pigmented so if you smudge it at all it is going to stain. You definitely need a lip liner with this. I keep this lipstick for special occasions. The only downside is it isn't long wearing. You get about 2-3 hours before needing to re apply.
5. The Body Shop Colour Crush 110
I love this range of lipsticks by The Body Shop and I definitely want more. They feel good quality and are very comfortable on the lips. They also have a great colour payoff and have just the right amount of shine. Also as a nice touch they have a rose scent.
4.YSL Rouge Volupte Shine - 15 Corail Intuitive
This is the perfect daytime lipstick as it only has abit of colour, it is like my natural lip colour but better. The Rouge Volupte Shine Lipsticks are hard to describe as they are pigmented but not as opaque as others so this one is a little sheer. They feel like more of a moisturising balm on the Balm's. These smell the best out of any lipstick that I've had, they smell gorgeous and fruity I think it's peach.
3. Mac Pro Longwear Lipcream - To The Future
This is my perfect nude lip lipstick, it isn't too light light Mac Myth which I also have. This colour is a my lips but better and it is my everyday lipstick for work. Also the fact that it's a pro longwear formula means that it lasts a good 5 hours plus for me which is longer than the usual 3 hours I get from a Mac Creamsheen. If you are looking to get a nude lip colour I can't recommend this one enough. I love how the formula is more creamy as it glides on nice and smooth and feels very comfortable to wear as sometimes with a Creamsheen I can find them a bit dry to apply. I also like how the bullet and packaging is a different shape. It makes it feel a bit more special and as these are slightly pricier than the usual Mac lipsticks it is worth it for this formula.
2. Mac Creamsheen - Ravishing
This is my favourite Mac lipstick that I own and I've mentioned it enough on my blog so I won't repeat myself. It is just a gorgeous orangey pinky peach, it is hard to describe but it is a gorgeous subtle coral colour on the lips. You can get away with wearing this in the day and the formula is nice and creamy and it has the usual gorgeous vanilla mac scent. Every time I went to a Mac counter I found myself instantly reaching for this shade, so from then I knew that it was a must have for me.
1.YSL Rouge Volupte Shine - 14 Corail In Touch
So here it is my number one lipstick and it's no surprise that it's a YSL one. It is a gorgeous bright peachy coral colour that is perfect for any occasion. I cannot rate this range of lipsticks enough I want every colour which is absurd but I think they are discontinuing them now (queue hysterical crying). This shade is my perfect coral and in love everything about the formula. They are nice and glossy when applied but after that fades it leaves a nice stain on the lips underneath. These aren't the most longwearing lipsticks that I own but they are by far the prettiest.
So they are my favourite lipsticks at the moment i have many more on my wishlist that I hope to buy soon, but these will still get lots of use. Do you share any of my favourites?

My top 3 Mac coral lipsticks

So what it's Autumn a berry lip is not to everyone's taste. Coral is still my favourite lip shade and here are my top 3 Mac coral lipstick shades. Due to the fact that in YSL's Fall range for example you will find a new coral shade in the pur couture lipstick line (shade 51 in looking at you - my next purchase hopefully) proves that coral lips are not over just because it's Autumn. I love them all and I'm listing my favourite Mac ones here from the lightest to the darkness shade.

Coral Bliss - Creamsheen
This is a perfect everyday coral. Creamsheen is my favourite mac formula as it is very pigmented and creamy on the lips.

Ravishing - Creamsheen
This is just utter perfection in a lipstick it is just stunning. It is subtle enough on the lips for daytime wear as it's not too bright but there's definitely a coral pop of the lips on this one.

Vegas Volt - Amplified
Ooh this could be my favourite yet as it is super pigmented and brighter than Ravishing. This is my evening wear coral choice as it a statement lip colour but again if your not confident enough to wear a bright red or bright orange then this is definitely for you. This one is like Ravishing but better as it's a deeper coral and brighter. It looks gorgeous on too.

I love all 3 of these and wear them frequently and I have a coral shade to fit every mood. I am a coral lipstick obsessive and I think there is something for everyone here. Please let me know what you think and what is your favourite.
In the swatch picture they are in the same order from left to right - Coral Bliss, Ravishing and then Vegas Volt.

My never ending wishlist continues...

Here what I am currently lusting over:

*Nuxe Reve De Miel Baume Levres - This has amazing reviews across lots of blogs and my lips are very dry at the moment so I really want to try this out.

*Nars Happening Palette - I'm a sucker for palettes with multiple items in and this has blush, bronzer and eyeshadows so it is right up my street. I believe this is hard to get hold of now as It was limited edition earlier in the year boo! But I've not given up hope.

*YSL Rouge Volupte Shine lipstick in Corail Incandescent - since I've recently got two other shades of this lipstick and I've fell head over heels for it I now want it in more colours. This shade is next on my list.

*Night Film by Marisha Pessi - I love a good book and this horror/thriller sounds perfect for me, so I'm hoping to pick this up soon.

What do you think of my current picks?

Mac Illustrated Rebecca Moses Face Kit Palette - Brown

When I saw this it literally took my breath away with its beauty. It without a doubt is the most gorgeous palette I have ever seen. I know not everyone will have the same opinion as me but I really can't find a single fault with it.
The start with the Ravishing lipstick was already on my wish list as it looked like the most perfect coral lipstick and I knew we I wanted to try it, so the fact that you get it in this palette sold the deal for me.
This palette is limited edition and is a collaboration with the artist Rebecca Moses. The packaging is very eye catching and I like it. It oozes quality as the material of the palette feels very well made and if you didn't know it was Mac you would still think that it was pricey. The case is a fabric material which you don't expect. It also has Rebecca signature on the mirror.
This palette comes in a choice of two colours which are brown or plum. The brown one looks far superior in my eyes but they have both sold out on Macs website but I do believe that they are still in stock at Selfridges. The RRP is £39.50 which isn't cheap but good value for Mac as to buy all these items separate it would cost a lot more than that.
My favourite thing about this palette is that you have abit of everything you get 4 eyeshadows a blush and 2 lipsticks so it would be perfect to travel with. I also love how the lipsticks have a separate cover inside to protect then from powder and to keep them fresh.
Inside you get:
* Melba powder blusher, matte
* Orb eye shadow (top left) satin
* Smoked Sepia eye shadow (bottom left) satin
* All That Glitters eye shadow (top right shadow) satin
* Show-Stopper eye shadow (bottom right shadow) matte
* Ravishing lipstick (top right) cream sheen
* Myth Lipstick (bottom right) satin
* Dual end brush 275SE/316SE
The colours are gorgeous and complement each other perfectly. On the back on the box you get a little set of instructions of how to achieve there desired look with the palette which I am wearing with the Ravishing lipstick in my picture.
This is definitely my favourite palette ever and there's not much more that I can say.

Swatches left to right are:
Eyeshadows as they are with no primer - Orb, all that glitters, smoked sepia and show stopper.
Other swatches:
Melba blusher, ravishing and myth lipsticks.

As you can see the colours are all gorgeous and pigmented. The blusher and lipsticks are very wearable colours for all skin types.

Have you tried any of the illustrated items? What do you think of this pallette?

My picks from the current Feel Unique sale

So in case you might have been living under a rock for the last few days Feel Unique have got a summer sale on which is amazing. They have free delivery as well which is one of the reasons I love this site.

Here is a round up of my favourite sale items.

The Balm Nude Tude Palette £20.80
This palette looks amazing and I've loved it since I saw it on my favourite blog - Beauty Broadcast. This is getting a lot of blogger attention so I can see it selling out pretty quick.

The Balm Instain Blusher - Swiss Dot £14.40
Some websites are selling this for £22 so this is a great price. I love love love this blusher. I want it in the Lace pink shade but it's sold out but the peachy Swiss Dot colour is gorgeous too.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick - Corail Intuitive £20.40
Omg this is my favourite item in the sale so far I've had sleepless nights wanting this haha. The Corail in Touch colour has just sold out but they are both gorgeous! These are £24 still in the YSL website so this is a good saving. I am so excited about this one.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush £10.79
This seems to be the brush to get. I don't yet own a Real Techniques brush but the starter sets are on my Christmas list. This seems to be a great all rounder brush.

Nuxe Travel Set £7.92
I have raved about this set in a previous post. This is seriously a must have product. Everything in it is amazing. They also have my favourite hand cream on sale for £8 the Nuxe Reve De Miel.

Have you bought anything In the Feel Unique sale and what do you think of my picks?

George at Asda half price shoe finds

So when I was doing my weekly shop yesterday I managed to convince my husband to let me have a "quick" look at the shoes, something which he begrudges but look what gems I found for half price. These where £10 both reduced to £5.

The white ones I've bought to go with my Collectif Dolores flared dress in blue hibiscus which I've mentioned in a previous post. I think these will go with it so well as they have a nice low heel and complement the retro feel.

The coral flats I've got for everyday wear at work. I am obsessed with coral in clothing as well as makeup but I love how these have studs on to give them that rock chick vibe. I found my last pair of George flats some of the comfiest I've ever worn so I hope these are the same.

Let me know if you find any half price bargains.
