Naughty impatient me having my Christmas present early - Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette

So when my husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas there was only one answer the Urban Decay Vice 2 palette, I've been pining over this for the past couple of months on numerous blogs. I've watched endless YouTube tutorials and reviews on this product and my mind was 100% made up I knew I wanted it bad.
As it is limited edition I kept getting anxious that it was going to sell out and be out of my reach forever but mid October he said he would order it me whilst Beauty Bay still had it in stock.
I knew he had paid the extra £1.50 for faster dispatch and free samples so for the next 3-4 days I hurried home from work wondering if it has arrived yet and finally it had!
I knew that I wanted it now as I'm naughty and impatient and after a bit of mithering he gave in and let me have it. It was definitely all I wanted and more and I have used it every day since! My favourite thing about it is you can get virtually any look you want, neutral, smokey, colourful or dramatic eyes. All the swatches I'd spent so long looking at didn't do it justice I am just totally in love with this palette and I will have to remind myself of that when I have nothing to open on Christmas morning.

Has anyone else found themselves doing this? Jodie x

Illamasqua cream foundation review

First of all I would like to apologise for my rubbish photography here as this was super hard to photograph. The packaging is super shiny and reflective.

I bought this illamasqua cream foundation in a recent secret illamasqua online sale. At only £7.50 with free postage I couldn't really say no as it's usually £23.
I got shade 133 which is for light to medium skin and I find that's it's a near perfect match for me. My first impression is that it was bigger than I thought and I like how you get a branded illamasqua sponge with it.
I don't like the smell of this foundation as it smells a bit like plastic and I didn't like it on my skin. I am a bit dissa in this product as for a high end brand this foundation didn't settle nice on my skin and enhanced any dry patches and basically looked flakey and awful. I don't have dry skin but this made it look like I did and it looked terribly cakey even with only a bit on. I tried to build up the coverage hoping it would leave a flawless top layer but it didn't.

I have not given up on this product just yet as I used it without a primer and I hope to buy a decent primer soon maybe the Smashbox one and I will try this out on top of it to see if it works with that.

Have any of you tried this product and did it work any better for you?

My Most used products - October

Here are the products that I have been reaching for most last month:

Origins Ginzing Moisturiser
This is my first time using this product and I am very happy with it, it leaves my skin feeling nice and fresh and it sinks in nice and quickly.

Bobbi Brown Pink Coral Blush
I am still completely in love with this blush it is so pretty and more on the pink side rather than the coral side. I have a few peach blushes so this is a nice change.

Rimmel Kate Lipstick - 16
This is a beautiful everyday pink lip colour that isn't too bright or intense. It's just a nice daytime lipstick. If I want a bright pink lip then I turn to Geranium by Limecrime. This can sometimes feel a little drying so I usually apply abit of lip balm beforehand and it's fine.

Mac Creamsheen Lipstick - Coral Bliss
This is a gorgeous nudey coral pink colour. It is rather sheer for a creamsheen but a nice choice for work or a none make up day. If I want a true nude lip I turn to my Mac pro longwear in to the future.

Garnier Body Intensive 7 days softening nourishing lotion
This has been my go to body moisturiser for the past few weeks. It leaves my skin feeling nice and hydrated especially after a hot shower to warm up which can dry out my skin. I will definitely purchase this again once it runs out.

My Most Wanted Christmas Presents = 90% palettes

So here I am again with a shortlist of what I want for Christmas, I've had to do this again as I keep changing my mind haha.
But here is what is set in stone there is no going back now. I am not expecting to get all of these luxurious gifts but I would be very happy with any that I receive.
1. Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette £42
This item has been at my number 1 spot since its release it just looks stunning in every way. I am very happy to report that my husband ordered this for me for Christmas and it arrived on Friday. Needless to say there was no separating me from this palette and I refused to let him take it away to be saved to Christmas. I know naughty me so I will be posting some looks with this beauty very soon.
2. Nars One Night Stand Guy Bourdin Palette £45
So I am going completely palette crazy this Christmas and I can't help it just look at this!. It is the most perfect cheek palette ever to exist. It has only just been released and is currently only available at Space NK in the UK.
It contains 4 blushes, 1 highlighter and 1 bronzer. It includes their most famous offerings of orgasm, deep throat and laguna all of which I own none so I totally need this in my life.
This could be another one of those presents that won't make it away from me to be wrapped.
3. Urban Decay Naked 1 Palette £37
It may be hard to believe but I don't own any of the Naked palettes I know crazy right. I decided that it's time to change that and after lovingly gazing at the shadows in both the naked 1 and 2 palettes I've decided that I would get more use out of the naked 1. I feel like I could put together more looks with this one where as with the 2 I might have to bring in another palette to complete the look. Anyway my mum has kindly agreed to buy me this one.
4. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette £56
This like the first 2 is also a limited edition palette and one that I might have to miss out on as I think it's already sold out. Anyway that won't stop me from looking or lusting after it. It look gorgeous and I've never tried any of the Hourglass powders and this looks like the perfect introduction to them. If I can't get hold of this I will have to settle to buying just one of the powders but which to choose hmm.
5. Origins Morning to Night Set £40
Whoa something that's not a palette! This skincare set looks right up my street, I already have the Ginzing moisturiser which I'm enjoying using but here you get the eye cream and the night cream too which I really want to try.
So that's it my Christmas list let's hope that I've been a good girl this year and I get some gorgeous beauty gifts.
Have any of these made your Christmas list?

My new make up storage - perfect for ladies with limited space.

So I had my makeup split into into 2 large Benefit make up bags which you can see in a previous post here and as my collection grows I was quickly running out of room.
I know among bloggers the Muji draws or Ikea large draws are usually the storage of choice I don't have that much room to spare for my makeup collection. Me and my husband currently live in a one bedroom flat with the living room and kitchen open plan so I don't have a dedicated room to store a vanity table and storage anywhere. Maybe when we move but that's in the future. For now my best bet and cheapest option was to get a large Vanity case and I stumbled across this beauty.
It comes in all different prints but of course I had to get leopard print :-) it has a lock and comes with a detachable strap so it would make a good option for make up artists.
I love to be organised and this has lots of compartments, it comes with dividers to so you can change the size of the compartments to suit your needs.
It has 3 tiers and feels very good quality, I like how I can see everything rather than spending ages rooting through my makeup bag. It also has lots more room to fit more makeup in as Christmas comes along I have a few palettes on my Christmas list so it will fit everything in and more.
I bought this from a ebay shop for £27.99 but you can buy it here for £21.99 + £4.99 shipping. I am very happy with it.
How do you store your make up?

Urban Decay Mother Lode 68 Eyeshadow Set

Wow this new release for Holiday 2013 looks beyond amazing but at $595 from Sephora a lot of us will be priced out of the market. This is for serious make up junkies and make up artists only.
It had 68 of Urban Decays best selling shadows and it will be available from Sephora soon. As well as all the shadows you get a empty 4 pan palette to put your favourits in how cute.
There is no word if it will be released in the UK or not yet.
I'm excited to see what other products they have up their sleeve for Holiday 2013 (Naked 3 anyone?) but for now I will just stare at this is awe.

Bioderma Sebium Pore Refiner Review

When you think of Bioderma you automatically think of the all famous micellar cleanser which i do love but today's review is on the Sebium Pore Refiner.

I won it as part of a Bioderma skincare set on Twitter a few months ago you can see my original post here. Anyway after getting a lot of use of out the products and putting them through their paces these past few months this was the only product that I found to not work for me. It had no effect on my pores which was disappointing. I did use it mostly on my nose and the sides of my nose onto my cheeks, chin and forehead and after a bit of use I noticed it kind of dried out my skin in that area and left it a bit aggravated and little lumps started to appear under the skin. I have since stopped using this product and my skin has been fine.
I was hoping it would be like my Benefit Porefessional which instantly smooths out my pores when applied but it wasn't. Overall I would not repurchase this product. I think it might be aimed more at oily skin which mine isn't so maybe that could be why I didn't get along with it. Have you ever tried any Bioderma skincare? I'm currently loving the eye cream which has I will review at a later date.

My Lipstick Wish List

I started putting together a make up wishlist and I realised that it was all mostly lipsticks so u decided to just so a lipstick one. Lipsticks are currently my favorite thing and there are so many that I want greedy me but I've narrowed it down for this list. I'm so bored of ready about how everyone needs to wear Mac Rebel now it's Autumn yawn! But I refuse as I don't like plum lipsticks as even though I love Vampires I don't want to look like one. I still favor nice peaches, corals and pinks for every season so I hope you like my current picks.
I will do this in the order of which I want the most so here we go -
Lime Crime - Babette $16
This looks like a stunning nude colour but abit more interesting. These lipsticks look very opaque and this looks brighter than most neutral nudes that I see. This seems impossible to get hold of in the UK so if you know where I can get it please link me in the comments. So far it looks like I will have to get it directly from Lime Crime in the USA. Also it has a unicorn on the packaging = me instantly won over.

Lime Crime - Geranium £11.50
Omg how fab does this pink look! I'm not really one for bright lipsticks but there is something about this that is seriously beautiful. Thankfully some UK websites stock this so it seems easier to get hold of than the elusive Babette. I was in the market for another nude and pink shade and I was swaying towards Mac Creamy Cup and Pink Nouveau which are both still on my wishlist but these two Lime Crime lipsticks took the lead.

YSL Rouge Volupte - Peach Passion £23.50
This will continue to be on my wishlist until I purchase it as it looks stunning and I know how much I love YSL lipsticks. This one is now discontinued so i need to get it before its gone. If it does sadly fall off the face of the earth my back up will be YSL Rouge Pur Couture - 51 Corail Urbain. This is a nice day time peach colour that looks stunning.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine - Orange Impertinent £24
This looks similar to the Corail In Touch that I already have but a brighter and deeper shade. This looks gorgeous and I would be so happy to add this to my collection. It is part of the rouge volupte shine family so they aren't that opaque so the colour won't be too scary. This is something that I like about these lipsticks so if you do want a bright orange coral opaque shade I wouldn't recommend this lipstick.

Hourglass Opaque Liquid Lipstick £23
These look really interesting and and I've never had anything by Hourglass before but I know that they get lots of good bloggers reviews. I like the idea of the packaging and would love to try it out for myself. I'm still uncertain on which shade I would get I'm thinking either rose or raven.

So that's it my lipstick wishlist they all seem to be high end so I'd better get saving up and hope Father Christmas might bring me one. Have you ever tried the Lime Crime or Hourglass lipsticks and what do you think?

My Skincare Wishlist

My skincare wishlist is quickly snowballing at a alarming rate but here is what my top items are:
Emma Hardie Amazing Face Cleansing Balm £34 for 100ml
This seems to be a must have for bloggers as it seems that this product is a staple in most bloggers skincare routines such as Lily Pebbles and Vivianna does makeup. I really want to try this as I have never tried any apart from foaming wash cleansers.
Origins Ginzing Moisturiser £23 for 30ml
This is such a hyped up product but I can't help but to lust after it. It seems to be featured in a lot of blogs and magazines so I want to test this wonder product for myself. It is a good time for me to get this as I have currently run out of both my facial moisturisers.
Hydraluron £24.99 for 30ml
This is another hyped up product that I was on the fence about but I wouldn't mind trying it. It is supposed to make your moisturiser work a lot better and to hydrate your skin more efficiently. It helps to make your skin absorb your moisturiser better and to retain it.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Recovery Complex II 30ml £48
This is totally a spurge product that I don't know if I can justify the high price tag. I don't currently use a serum but I am in the market for one and apparently this is the best of the best. I want to try this so bad but I will have to wait and see.
La Roche Posay Serozinc £13.70 for 150ml ebay seller monsieurgeorgew
This isn't available in the UK yet sadly but you can buy it from eBay or some international websites that ship to the UK. This toner is another blogger favourite and I like the idea of it being in the form of a spray. I really want to try this out as I've read such amazing things about it, it definitely has a lot of hype to live up to. The price isn't too bad for a high end toner so I will be purchasing this soon.

So these are my current skincare lustings and I'm sure that I'll never purchase them all but I can always dream.
What is your top skincare product that you want to purchase?

My Husband Does My Make Up TAG

So after watching a few of my favourite YouTube bloggers do the "My Boyfriend Does My Make Up'' Tag I thought that me and my husband could have a go at that. Thankfully my husband Mike wasn't too against it and we had a laugh. I won't put any spoilers on here so I'll just stop talking and let you watch it for yourself.

Tutorial - Bright Red Lip

I love to rock a bright red lip whenever I can but applying and keeping a Bright lipstick in place can be tricky. Here is how I do it and I hope you find this little tutorial useful.

Step 1 - Exfoliate
You need perfect smooth lips to pull off a bright lip colour as it will show every single line and groove of the lips. So dry flakey lips are a big no no!
I use a lip scrub from Lush in the popcorn flavour this little pot costs about £5-£6 but will last a very long time. You dip your finger in and gentle scrub across the lips and then rinse off with warm water. After this your lips can feel a little abused so onto the next step.

Step 2 - Moisturise
To soften the lips and to keep them looking their best you now need to moisterise them. I use the Nuxe Reve De Miel balm which leaves my lips feeling very hydrated and soft. For the best results leave this to sink in for approximately 10 minutes.

Step 3 - Line
This is such a important step that so many people miss out but if you do your lipstick on the inner parts of your lips will be gone within the hour. This gives the perfect base to apply your lipstick on top of and makes it last a lot longer. It also prevents any unsightly cranks forming in the colour and stops it bleeding out.
Bright lipsticks don't last very long but using a liner at least doubles the wear time so try to find one that is a similar colour to the lipstick that your using. Here I have used a Barry M lip liner in colour number 3.

Step 4 - Apply Lipstick
This works best for me with a lip brush as I feel like I have more control and can apply the lipstick with more precision.
Don't overload the lips with product or it will smudge about. Don't be afraid to make any mistakes as they can always be corrected with a makeup remover soaked cotton bud afterwards.
If you do decide to rock a bright lip I suggest carrying a compact mirror with you and the lipstick for any reapplication and to check for smudging. My red lipstick of choice is the YSL Rouge Pur Couture in shade 01 Le Rouge.

I hope some of you find this useful and if you have any tips for me please leave them in the comments below.

Bobbi Brown Pink Coral Blush Review

This blusher is from this season and is part of the Rich Chocolate range.
It comes in matte or shimmer but I went for matte as I'm not a shimmer kinda gal.
I am so glad that I made the splurge on this blusher as it is my new favourite! It is gorgeous. I love anything coral but this colour is on the pink side of coral rather than the peachy side like everything else.
I think that's why I love it so much as I have nothing like it. It isn't too pigmented and it is a very build able shade. As it is quite a light pink coral shade I'm not sure if it would show up on darker skin tones but for any light-medium skintone this colourful would give you gorgeous natural looking flushed cheeks.
The packaging is nice and sleek and black and even though it's plastic it doesn't feel cheap.
I now want more shades of Bobbi 's blushes and I'm eyeing up nectar for my next purchase and I wouldn't mind making my own 4 pan palette. Oh dear I fear a obsession is in the making with these blushes.
Have you tried anything from the new rich chocolate range?

My top 3 favourite blushers

Here are my top 3 favourite blushers that I am currently reaching for -
3. Benefit Hervana £23.50 for 8g
I love this blusher as it is perfumed it smells gorgeous, it also comes with a handy angled good quality brush and mirror. I love how all the colours are swirled together to give this soft light pink colour. Also if you wanted to you could use the colours individually as eyeshadows. It does take a bit of building up to get a decent amount of colour but I'm definitely enjoying using this blusher.
2. The Balm Instain - Swiss Dot £18 for 5.5g
This is the most pigmented blush that I've ever had. I apply it with a stipple brush as it picks up a minimal amount of product which is enough. I love how so little of this goes along way. It is a gorgeous peach colour and it lasts all day. Even though it's a powder blush it is a stain and even after a long day I need some good make up remover to make it budge.
1. Bobbi Brown - Pink Coral 31 £19 for 3.7g
This is from the Bobbi Brown chocolate collection and it is the most gorgeous blusher colour ever. I am coral obsessed at the moment but I love how this is more on the pink side of coral it is just what I've been looking for. This is the matte version as I believe it also comes in shimmer but matte is more to my taste.
So that's my top 3 blushers for the moment. I use my Elf Stipple brush or my Real Techniques blusher brush to apply them depending on how pigmented I want them.
What do you think of my picks and do we share any of the same favourites?
Swatch picture from left to right is: Bobbi Brown Pink Coral, Benefit Hervana and then The Balm Instain Swiss Dot.

My top 8 favourite lipsticks

I love all make up but most of all I love lipsticks and then blushers. I love to collect them especially the high end ones which is turning out to be a expensive hobby oops.
Here are my current top 8 favourite lipsticks, it was hard choosing them but here they are from left to right in the swatch picture (opposite way  in the other 2) -
8. Mac Viva La Gaga - Lustre
This is a gorgeous light pink and it is a little more sheer than the creamsheen formula. It again feels comfortable to wear and smells of the usual Mac vanilla
7. Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Matte - 111 Kiss of Life
Seeing as this is a cheap lipstick I was very impressed with this formula as it feels nice on and is quite longlasting. It isn't too matte and it smells really nice too. It isn't YSL standard but it isn't YSL price either. Definitely a winner for Rimmel.
6. YSL Rouge Pur Couture - 01 Le Rouge
This is the perfect bright red lipstick. It smells gorgeous and the formular is nice and creamy and it feels very comfortable on the lip. This is highly pigmented so if you smudge it at all it is going to stain. You definitely need a lip liner with this. I keep this lipstick for special occasions. The only downside is it isn't long wearing. You get about 2-3 hours before needing to re apply.
5. The Body Shop Colour Crush 110
I love this range of lipsticks by The Body Shop and I definitely want more. They feel good quality and are very comfortable on the lips. They also have a great colour payoff and have just the right amount of shine. Also as a nice touch they have a rose scent.
4.YSL Rouge Volupte Shine - 15 Corail Intuitive
This is the perfect daytime lipstick as it only has abit of colour, it is like my natural lip colour but better. The Rouge Volupte Shine Lipsticks are hard to describe as they are pigmented but not as opaque as others so this one is a little sheer. They feel like more of a moisturising balm on the Balm's. These smell the best out of any lipstick that I've had, they smell gorgeous and fruity I think it's peach.
3. Mac Pro Longwear Lipcream - To The Future
This is my perfect nude lip lipstick, it isn't too light light Mac Myth which I also have. This colour is a my lips but better and it is my everyday lipstick for work. Also the fact that it's a pro longwear formula means that it lasts a good 5 hours plus for me which is longer than the usual 3 hours I get from a Mac Creamsheen. If you are looking to get a nude lip colour I can't recommend this one enough. I love how the formula is more creamy as it glides on nice and smooth and feels very comfortable to wear as sometimes with a Creamsheen I can find them a bit dry to apply. I also like how the bullet and packaging is a different shape. It makes it feel a bit more special and as these are slightly pricier than the usual Mac lipsticks it is worth it for this formula.
2. Mac Creamsheen - Ravishing
This is my favourite Mac lipstick that I own and I've mentioned it enough on my blog so I won't repeat myself. It is just a gorgeous orangey pinky peach, it is hard to describe but it is a gorgeous subtle coral colour on the lips. You can get away with wearing this in the day and the formula is nice and creamy and it has the usual gorgeous vanilla mac scent. Every time I went to a Mac counter I found myself instantly reaching for this shade, so from then I knew that it was a must have for me.
1.YSL Rouge Volupte Shine - 14 Corail In Touch
So here it is my number one lipstick and it's no surprise that it's a YSL one. It is a gorgeous bright peachy coral colour that is perfect for any occasion. I cannot rate this range of lipsticks enough I want every colour which is absurd but I think they are discontinuing them now (queue hysterical crying). This shade is my perfect coral and in love everything about the formula. They are nice and glossy when applied but after that fades it leaves a nice stain on the lips underneath. These aren't the most longwearing lipsticks that I own but they are by far the prettiest.
So they are my favourite lipsticks at the moment i have many more on my wishlist that I hope to buy soon, but these will still get lots of use. Do you share any of my favourites?

My top 3 Mac coral lipsticks

So what it's Autumn a berry lip is not to everyone's taste. Coral is still my favourite lip shade and here are my top 3 Mac coral lipstick shades. Due to the fact that in YSL's Fall range for example you will find a new coral shade in the pur couture lipstick line (shade 51 in looking at you - my next purchase hopefully) proves that coral lips are not over just because it's Autumn. I love them all and I'm listing my favourite Mac ones here from the lightest to the darkness shade.

Coral Bliss - Creamsheen
This is a perfect everyday coral. Creamsheen is my favourite mac formula as it is very pigmented and creamy on the lips.

Ravishing - Creamsheen
This is just utter perfection in a lipstick it is just stunning. It is subtle enough on the lips for daytime wear as it's not too bright but there's definitely a coral pop of the lips on this one.

Vegas Volt - Amplified
Ooh this could be my favourite yet as it is super pigmented and brighter than Ravishing. This is my evening wear coral choice as it a statement lip colour but again if your not confident enough to wear a bright red or bright orange then this is definitely for you. This one is like Ravishing but better as it's a deeper coral and brighter. It looks gorgeous on too.

I love all 3 of these and wear them frequently and I have a coral shade to fit every mood. I am a coral lipstick obsessive and I think there is something for everyone here. Please let me know what you think and what is your favourite.
In the swatch picture they are in the same order from left to right - Coral Bliss, Ravishing and then Vegas Volt.

A antiperspirant that actually works wow!

This isn't my most glamorous purchase this month but it is by far the most useful. This is the first antiperspirant that I've tried that actually works!
I've tried most of the supermarket sprays, sticks or roll on types over the years but I've never found one that works until now.

I've seen this on a few blogs recently and knew that I needed to try it. At £5.50 it is pricey for a antiperspirant but now I know it works I will definitely be repurchasing.

I won't go into too much detail but in my job I can find myself running up and down stairs a lot and carrying heavy things which can break me out in a sweat. I was always conscious of sweat patches and would nip to my locker a couple of times a day for a quick squirt of deodorant. Now this is not necessary and for the first time I am always completely dry under my arms. With this antiperspirant you just apply a small amount before bed and again in the morning and that's it.

I am so amazed by this and I can't recommend it enough. There is a Dove version which I haven't and won't try now I've found this Sure one.

Have you tried this yet and if so what did you think?

Black eyeliner round up

A black eyeliner is something that I wear everyday and there are so many out there to choose from.

I had only ever used kohl liners up until about a year ago when I discovered liquid liners and then gel liners.
Every girl needs a good jet black liner on hand, if you haven't found your perfect one yet here is a little round up of the ones that I'm not currently using:

Collection 2000 Fast Stroke (far left)
This is one of the best liquid liners around and it's as cheap as they come too at only £2.99. This liner is just as good or maybe even better because of the value than my Benefit Magic Ink. It is the most jet black of the bunch.

Be a Bombshell (second left)
I was never a fan of liquid eyeliner pens until this beauty came along in a recent Glossybox. I really love this liner and it doesn't dry up. I love how it gives a nice thick line so my eyes go from drab to fab in 2 seconds flat.

Maybelline Gel Liner (second right)
I thought that I'd prefer gel liners over liquid but I don't. I still like to use this though as I can get good precision with my eyeliner brush. It's not as black as my liquid ones which is a shame.

Benefit Bad Gal Waterproof (far right)
This is a good liner but for the price I don't think it's worth it. It lasts well and I like the smudger on the end but I don't think it's better than a drugstore one for half the price. It also isn't as dark as I like a eyeliner to be it is black but not dark enough.

So that's the ones that I'm currently using there is a reason why the collection fast stroke liner has won awards and it's because it is a must buy for any black eyeliner lover. It would be rude not to at that price.

Have you found your perfect black eyeliner and what is it?

My September Favourites

So that's another month over nearly and here is what I have been reaching for most over this past month.
Bioderma Sensibio Eye
I have been using this eye cream morning and night for the past couple of months and I really like it. It feels nice and gentle on the eye and is more soothing than my other loved eye cream which is Benefits It's Potent. I will definitely be repurchasing this when it's empty.
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser SPF 20
I bought this in the travel size to test it out. I'm not sure if nude is the right colour for me as I was shocked initially at how yellow it was. Either way bit does blend out nice and leaves a more natural colour. I do like this but I would like to get a proper colour match. This for me is so much better than a bb cream and if I'm not wearing foundation then I use this. It blends out flawlessly with the Real Techniques buffing brush and has medium coverage.
Bobbi Brown Corrector
I got colour matched for this as I was struggling to cover my dark circles. This is seriously my new holy grail product even if I change concealers I can see myself still using this underneath. This neutralises dark circles under my eyes so my concealer works better. Before without the darkness undertones still showed through my concealer this but this stops that.
Bobbi Brown Concealer Duo
The same as above I got colour matched for this as I was wearing the wrong shade of concealer. The quality of this is definitely the best that I've used and I've tried a few high end concealers. I like this duo as you get setting powder with it to which prevents creasing. Also unlike a lot of other high end concealers this has lots of different shades.
Mac Pro Longwear Lipcream - To The Future
This is my ultimate nude lip shade and due to the Longwear formula this is perfect for work. I find myself wearing this most days. It also feels very creamy and moisturising on the lips so it is so comfortable to wear.
NYX Lipliner 858 Nude Pink
This is a good quality Lipliner that matches my Mac To The Future nude lipstick very well. It isn't as creamy as I'd like but it is very cheap to buy.
So these are my favourite products that I've been using most the past month. Most not them are new discoveries for me that I will continue to enjoy.
Have you ever tried any of my picks and do you share any of the same favourites as me?

My Picks of the Christmas Gift Sets

So it's getting to my favourite time of the year Christmas! I've already started my Christmas shopping and today I've put together my Christmas wish list.
Most of my favourite brands have released their Christmas gifts sets already on Debenhams, Boots and Selfridge's so I've spends a few hours this morning picking and choosing my favourites and here they are:

Origins Morning to Night Set £40
I've never tried Origins skincare and this set looks like a perfect introduction to the Ginzing range which is much raved about in the bloggersphere so I want to try it out.

Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette £42
Urban Decay are like the holy grail of eyeshadow palettes and this one looks like it could be the best yet. It looks so versatile as it has neutral shadows all the way the deep smokey eye colours I wan to this so bad.

Soap & Glory Power Trip £20
How cute and is this? I love something that is compact with lots of different products squeezed in. I've been wanting to try the highlighting powder for a while now so I can test it in this. This could be one of the presents that I end up buying myself early as I can't wait until Christmas day.

YSL Babydoll Mascara Set £24.50
I was hoping YSL would bring out a gift set that included a lipstick or 2 or even a whole bunch of like Illamasqua have but I can keep dreaming besides it would be hundreds of pounds. I just want lots of YSL lipsticks Ok, that's my dream as they are my favourite. Anyway I need a new mascara and this one looks pretty and has good reviews so it's made my list. You also get a make up remover which isn't a bad thing.

Ciate Mini Paint Palette £25
How cute is this set, seriously I love this! I don't own many nail polishes so a set like this would be a quick way to bulk up my collection and to bring some variety into my life.

Clarins All About Lips £18
I think this one is a good price and all the colours are nice and wearable, I think this one is definitely a winner.

So that's it my Christmas list, I hope my husband is reading :-)

Have you started your yet? What do you think of mine, I think everyone will be wanting the Vice 2 palette this year and I have a feeling it will sell out eek fingers crossed that I get one.
