On My Radar

Here are some items that are currently on my radar!
Fiorelli Perry Bag RRP £45, Sale £22.50
This summer it is all about small bags where I can just carry my essentials around with me. This is very unlike me as I usually like carrying around a giant horde of stuff. Anyway soon when my baby is born (anyday now) I will have my Pink Lining Yummy Mummy changing bag to carry around with me so I want to streamline my own bits and bobs.
Charlotte Tilbury - Dolca Vita Palette £38
Yes the price is a little steep for 4 eyeshadow but the look that gives looks breathtakingly stunning. You can get both day and night looks from this. No matter what you say I will find a way to justify the hefty price tag for this. I just need it ok.
Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade - Dark Brown £15
I never feel 'done' until I have my eyebrows made up. I currently use Benefits Brow Zings which completely transformed my life. I am useless with pencils but now this product has perked up my interest as it has received such good reviews everywhere. Also it would just be a one step process rather than the 2 with the Benefit product. Anything to make my life easier.
New Look Coral/Tan Sandal £15.99
I am so sick of wearing flip flops but I am struggling to fit my 9 month pregnant cankles into anything else and probably not even these but as she is due anyday (please god today?) I am told my feet will go back or normal more or less immediately after the birth. So what a nice way to celebrate than with some new summer sandals. These will also go with lots of outfits and the above Fiorelli bag (see where I am going with that). These were on sale on ASOS for £12 but they've just sold out boo! But luckily for me i managed to bag the last of my size just in the nick of time.
Bare Minerals Marvellous Moxie Lipstick - Speak Your Mind £13.95
I remember seeing swatches of this on a blog ages ago (can't remember which) and it's just stuck with me as looking gorgeous on. It was like the everyday perfect pinky hue. I have not forgot about it and really should take the time out to swatch it for myself. As I've recently learned that looking at swatches online is completely useless as they can look totally different on you and in real life in general.
So that's it my current lustings. Unfortunately most are high end so I will have to continue to want but seriously they all look gorgeous! Let me know what you are currently craving? Or if you have found any bargains.

Primark Yellow Bag

I was currently rocking my Zara Mini City handbag which I still love but I have been wanting something a bit smaller now that I have finished work for maternity leave. I don't need to carry as much stuff or try and squeeze in my dinner.
I still need to carry my maternity notes everywhere that I go and some other non glamorous pregnancy essentials (breast pads anyone?).
I knew that I wanted a across the body bag so I can be hands free when I'm finally pushing my pram and I knew that I wanted a nice summery colour. I mainly wanted a pastel colour such as baby pink, blue or mint green but when I saw this bag I knew this was the perfect one. It only comes in bright yellow or black and my local store only had 2 yellow left and tonnes of black so it must be a popular pick.
Primark do have some super cute and cheap mini satchels at the moment which I nearly decided on one but I love this one so much more as it's a little bigger and has a front pocket. I really don't have anything negative to say apart from some of the Primark bags quality can be terrible. The last one left of the shelf the handle was stitched on all lopsided.

Anyway here are the positives:

* bright colour perfect for summer with contrasting black piping and zip. Looks super stylish.
* cheap! at only £8.00
* adjustable strap.
* good amount of pockets, good size front pocket with clasp, zip to main pocket and I smaller zipped compartment inside.
* small in size (not positive for everyone but it was just what I wanted).

As this bag has been such a hit I have seen it on eBay for buy it now prices of £20 which is crazy seeing as the RRP is only £8. If you can still get your hands on this bag I would recommend it as I plan to use it future summers to come.

What's in my handbag - Zara Office City Mini

So I have a fabulous new handbag and I haven't done one of these posts in a while so I thought it was time for a update. Here is what currently in my handbag:

- Ted Baker Rocksy purse
- Samsung earphones
- Kleenex tissues, as I haven't been able to shake off this cold for over a month now :-(
- DC gloves, as even though it's now spring it's still freezing most mornings.
- Keys
- Pregnancy notes, I'm currently 6 months along and apparently I'm not allowed to leave the house without these.
- Sick bag, if you've been pregnant you will understand it's not glamorous but keeping these with me makes me feel confident enough to leave the house for any worse case scenarios on public transport.
- Glasses cloth.

I also keep a L'Occitane cosmetic bag in here which keeps all my beauty essentials in which are:

- Bobbi Brown corrector, i mostly use this for the mirror as it is so small and light to carry around.
- Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish no. 16
- YSL Rouge Volupte Shine no. 15
- Neals Yard lip gloss
- Paris Hilton perfume vial
- Elizabeth Arden perfume sample
- L'Occitane hand cream
- Gaviscon
- Paracetamol

There is still plenty of room in this bag to fit more stuff too which is great but this is what I currently keep with me, my lip products tend to change quite frequently it depends which are my current favourites. X

Birthday Bag - Zara Office Mini City

So I have finally joined the club and got myself one of these beauties! and now I'm thinking why did I wait so long?

This bag is the bomb! There is no doubt about it it is perfect in every way, the size, the quality, the simplicity, the functionality, the chicness, the price tag. The list goes on but now that I've fell head over heels for it I now want it in Navy too but i believe that colour has been discontinued. I may settle and get the black one as well. I do feel like grey is perfect for spring though as it will go beautifully with the pastal colours that are currently making themselves known.

My favourite thing about this bag is the organisation as there is a pocket for everything. I love being able to give my most used items there own little space and it makes it so much easier to find what I need. I normally stand at my front door for ages fumbling for my keys or on the bus for my bus ticket but not any more as I know where everything will be.

I love how it isn't too small as well as I'm crap with tiny bags. I like to carry a decent amount of stuff with me and I will do a what's in my bag post soon so you can see what I carry around in here. I'm also enjoying using the shoulder strap as with most bags that is the first thing that I detatch and throw into the bottom of a draw never to be seen again. It is just a 10/10 for me.

My Birthday Wishlist - I'm 27 Next Week

So I'm 27 next week eek! and seeing as I'm nearly 6 months pregnant I haven't bought myself anything apart from 'essential' maternity clothes in a while :-P  All my wishlists are now 100% made up of things for the baby as babies need so many things and most are expensive and if I've not been buying those items then it's been things to decorate the nursery. But as it's my birthday I feel like I deserve something just for me personally which is still hard to do 100% without feeling guilty. So here goes:

Zara Office Mini City Bag - Grey £29.99
I remember wanting this in black ages ago but somehow I forgot about it but now it has come back to the forefront of my mind. It is simple and stunning. I love being organised and having a pocket for everything so this is what I want!

L'occitane Make Up Bag £6
I love the smallish size of these and they come in lots of pretty designs. I plan to use it in my Zara bag to store all my beauty essentials to keep my bag organised and tidy. You can pick them up on eBay for approximately £6

Benefit How To Look The Best At Everything Kit - Light £25.50
At the moment I haven't been bothering with make up but now that I am starting to feel like my normal self again I realise that the whole pregnancy glow thing is a myth and my skin isn't looking to great. This will help to cover any blemishes and help me fake some nice skin.

Burts Bees Mama Bee - Leg and Foot Cream £12.99
I love Burts Bees alot and I remember that they used to have a Mama Bee gift set but I can't find it but this is the product that I would most like to try from the range. I remember the coconut foot moisturiser being my favourite ever so I would like to give this ago.

Pink Linings Yummy Mummy Changing Bag £79.99
Yes this isn't 100% for me and is abit of a cheat item but I really want to indulge on it. I know that it is expensive and that I already have a nice Cosatto changing bag to match my pram but just look how beautiful it is. It also comes with a nappy changing matt and has lots of inside pockets and special storage areas for everything baby related. I am a sucker for bag organisation and this is just so pretty. It comes in loads of gorgeous designs but I love this Bee one best. I would feel proud to carry this bag around and as a first time mum I feel that this bag would be a great help.

Products that I'm lusting after the most

Even though I've only recently got a new Ted Baker handbag I have fallen head over heels in love with another bag. I am definitely more of a bag person that a shoe person. I love handbags!
Here is what is currently at the top of my very long wishlist:
Kate Spade Beau Bag
I love the classic black but I want this in red. It looks absolutely stunning and I know it's very expensive so I won't be able to get one but a girl can dream right. This is gorgeous and I could team it with red shoes or a red lip to set off the look. I first caught sight of this bag in either Marie Claire magazine and I'd never heard of the brand but now it is definitely on my radar.
Mac Lipstick in Vegas Volt
I am a huge fan of Mac Ravishing as it is definitely my favourite Mac shade. This shade looks similar to it, It's like Ravishing but on a better day. It is brighter and more pigmented than Ravishing so I definitely want to own Vegas Volt.
Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser
This is a cult favourite among bloggers and I want to get involved and see what all the fuss is about. I would like to wear this as a stand alone complexion products. No foundation no primer no bb or cc creams just this alone to see how it fairs. I would also wear it alone as casual day make up as I don't wear foundation everyday anyway.
Nars Adult Content Blush Pallette
I have never tried any Nars blushers so I thought this would be a great way to be introduced to the product in love how you get a highlighter too so even though it's pricey I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this.
So that's it my current wishlist lustings, what do you think is there anything here that you own that you can give me advice on?

New bag crush alert - Ted Baker Suno handbag <3

This bag is just stunning! I currently own the Ted Baker Mardun handbag in black which is a similar style to this but a lot bigger. It is perfect for carrying my everyday work essentials but sometimes I would like a smaller handbag or a across the body bag. This fits both of those criteria whilst also keeping the vintage style that I desire.
I love Ted Baker bags as they are my favourite and I know they are expensive but they are good quality and they last. My Mardun bag still gets lots of complements. You can see my blog post about my Mardun bag here
This Suno bag comes in 4 colours unfortunately none of them are red like I was hoping as my Mardun is black but I'd still buy this in black but you can also get green, hot pink or light pink all of which are gorgeous.
It has the Ted Baker British bulldog interior design print and this is definitely on the top of my Christmas list. I can only hope that it goes on sale as £109.99 is pricey but you can buy it here
What do you think of this bag? Have you fell in love with it like me.

Handbag essentials - March 2013

The make up that I carry with me on a daily basis is constantly changing as I try out new things. So this is my March round up of must have essentials. I keep them all in a little make up bag that I keep in my handbag.
This month I am carrying around:
- Benefit Porefessional mini
- Benefit Hello Flawless powder in ivory
- Benefit Fine One One
- Benefit Coralista lipgloss
- Benefit Laugh with me Lee Lee perfume mini.
I use the Porefessional daily as it is silky and feels great on the skin. It reduces the visibility of pores, I don't know how it does it but it does. Most days I use this solo with no foundation. I have a full size of this in my make up bag but a mini is great to carry around for any needed touch ups in the day as you can wear this over or under make up it is truly a wonder product.
The Hello Flawless powder is great as you get a sponge and a brush applicator with it so you can get as much coverage as you want with this product. You use the sponge first on any areas you want more coverage and then the brush after for lighter application. I love how it has room to store these underneath the powder. I don't like liquid foundation so I prefer to use this on days when I want to wear foundation.
As I have mentioned before I am a huge fan of the Fine One One as it is a blusher and highlighter all in one just sweep across the cheek and voila instant colour. I use Hervana blusher and Watts Up highlighter when I'm getting ready in a morning but this is great for touch ups as the colours are so nice. You can build up colour too I recommend trying this out as if you are worried that you will look like a clown after one sweep across the cheek don't worry you won't. I introduced my best friend to this and she went out and bought it straight away. It is any girls handbag must have.
I've never really been one for lip glosses as I don't like the stickiness and the fact that my hair gets stuck to it as soon as you step outside but this isn't that sticky at all so that's a plus.
I had the Life on the A list gloss with my jetset kit and found the colour a bit too light for my liking. After looking online I had it set in my mind that I would buy the Dandelion lip gloss but when I tried it out in store the colour of that was too light too so I went for Coralista it gives great colour. It's good as I hardly wear lipstick and this is great for everyday colour.
I adore the Laugh with me Lee Lee perfume that I got with my Primed For Takeoff set it smells truly amazing. This is weird as when I tried them out in store on those wooden test sticks I didn't like any of them. But since getting it I love it as it smells so different when on the skin. So when you try them at the counters I would recommend testing them on your wrist to get the true smell.
I keep all these is a cute little Benefit make up bag called 'Bermuda Betty' the size is perfect for me as it keeps all these things In with room to spare. It fits perfectly into my handbag and it has a nifty mirror inside too.
There is just one item missing which I haven't received yet which is the new Benefit Fake Up hydrating concealer. I am so excited about this it isn't in stores until March 30th but they have started selling it early online si I an hoping to receive it tomorrow March 21st. I will keep you updated on this. I was lucky enough to try it in store and I believe it will be great. I tried it as I was worried that because it has a moisturiser around the concealer i thought it would leave under the eye looking shiny and greasy but it doesn't. I will post about it when I get it. Please check out my YouTube channel for Benefit make up tutorials. Comment me any requests you have :-)
